Apart from this Non-Samsung flagship smartphone users need to change the device ID under the Build prop in order to play Fortnite on their device. How to Change Build prop and Play Fortnite? [Steps]

There are loads of security measures that have been taken by the Fortnite developer to prevent it from harmful threats. Fortnite can’t be run on any rooted Android device even if the USB debugging is enabled. So, we will recommend you to root your device using Magisk because Magisk can hide root from specific apps. if your device is not rooted and doesn’t know how to root Android then, follow Install and Flash Magisk using Custom Recovery on your Android Devices.

Install & Play Fortnite on Rooted Android Phones

Step 1: Once you root your Android device successfully, make sure to pass the SafetyNet on Magisk. This method will not work if you don’t pass SafetyNet.

Step 2: You can download apps like Root Explorer or Root Explorer to access Build.prop.

Step 3: Open the build.prop using a text editor and change the following lines:

ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
ro.build.product=starlte
ro.product.device=starlte
ro.product.model=SM-G960F
ro.product.name=starltexx

Step 4: Once completed, save the Build.prop and restart your Android device.

Step 5: Now, you have to download Fortnite apk and install it on your Android device. To install the downloaded apk, you have to enable the Unknown sources by going to Settings > Security > enable unknown sources.

Step 6: Once the Fortnite is successfully installed, open the Magisk Manager and hide the root from Fortnite.

Step 7: Now, open the Fortnite game and allow it to download the necessary external files. If there is any error prompts then, check to build.prop file again.

Step 8: If the problem still persists then, simply hide or rename the Magisk app and delete the Magisk manager folder. You also have to turn on “Magisk core only mode and restart your Android device.

Step 9: Once the restart completed, one has to check the Magisk Manager settings. If the message appears “Restore Magisk Manager”, which means Magisk Manager is hidden.

Step 10: Go to the App drawer and open Fortnite. That’s it.
